Product properties
UrgoTül is a non-occlusive, flexible, and conformable gauze dressing based on the Lipidocolloid Technology (TLC) from URGO Laboratories. It consists of a polyester fiber mesh impregnated with hydrocolloid particles (carboxymethylcellulose), paraffin, petroleum jelly, and polymers.

Characteristics
Upon contact with exudate, the hydrocolloid particles gel and form a lipidocolloid interface layer with the petroleum jelly. UrgoTül does not stick to the wound or its edges, nor does it feel greasy, thus facilitating dressing changes.

Instructions for use
Clean the wound; rinse if an antiseptic has been used. Remove the protective film and apply the dressing. It can be cut with sterile scissors. Cover with a secondary dressing and secure. Change every 2 to 4 days, or up to 7 days under compression for venous ulcers, and every 1 to 3 days for wounds related to epidermolysis bullosa.

Precautions
Moisten latex gloves with saline solution to prevent sticking. Consult a doctor in case of local infection. Leave a portion of the dressing visible for deep wounds. Do not use in a hyperbaric chamber. Single use; check the integrity of the pouch. Contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity.
