Tegaderm adhesive foam 6.9 x 6.9 cm

Tegaderm Foam Adhesive is a thin, highly absorbent foam dressing featuring a superabsorbent layer and a moisture-regulating layer. It is designed for low- to highly-exuding wounds. Its ultra-thin adhesive border and patented spoke delivery system allow for precise, one-handed application, even on difficult areas such as the heel, forefoot, toes, and sacrum.

Instructions for use: To apply the dressing, hold the non-adhesive border, remove the protective film, position it over the wound, then press the adhesive wings down, overlapping them to conform to the contours. Remove the paper backing and shape the dressing. To remove, pull gently while keeping the dressing flat (180° technique).

Notes: Select a dressing size so that the foam overlaps the healthy skin by approximately 2.5 cm. Monitor the wound for any signs of infection. The dressing can be used as an absorbent secondary dressing over primary dressings such as alginates. It is recommended to change the dressing when exudate is visible under the transparent film or if the dressing begins to lift, at the latest after 7 days.
