Product properties

Suprasorb P is a sterile PU foam dressing. The fine-pored foam absorbs wound exudate quickly and securely thanks to its excellent capillary action. The material conforms to the wound bed. The special surface of the contact layer is gentle on fragile wounds. The semi-permeable PU membrane maintains an ideal moist environment. Even after fluid absorption, the dressing retains its shape. It is bacteria- and water-resistant*. Easy to apply, soft, and comfortable to wear.

Available in non-adhesive, self-adhesive, sacrum, heel, and finger/toe versions.

Areas of application: moderately exuding, superficial, acute (split-thickness skin graft sites, postoperative wounds) and chronic (pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers) wounds.

Features: reliable exudate management, high wearing comfort, perforated non-stick layer, bacteria- and liquid-resistant membrane, anatomical shape for hard-to-reach areas.

Use: dressing change interval determined by the physician, at the latest after 5 to 7 days. Change as soon as discoloration reaches the edge of the wound. Can be used as a secondary dressing in case of risk of infection. Can be cut dry; should overlap wound edges by approximately 2 cm.
