Folplus film-coated tablets are a dietary supplement containing folic acid as well as important vitamins. Folic acid (vitamin B9) is often no longer absorbed in sufficient quantities through diet, particularly in the elderly, and must therefore be supplemented in the body. The German Nutrition Society recommends a daily dietary supplement of 400 µg of folic acid.
