This rolled absorbent cotton wool is made of cotton. It is used for padding or for the manufacture of individual cotton swabs.

If non-sterile cotton wool is used for wound care, it must be sterilized before use according to a validated procedure.

The absorbent cotton wool is a class I medical device (rule 1) and meets the requirements of directive 93/42/EEC. It is manufactured in accordance with the Ph. Eur. (absorbent cotton), does not contain any dangerous toxic substances in accordance with REACH, and bears the CE mark and DIN EN ISO 15223-1 on all packaging levels.
