OktaAmino combines eight essential amino acids in a balanced ratio – including L-leucine, L-isoleucine, L-valine, L-lysine, L-threonine, L-phenylalanine, L-methionine, and L-tryptophan. Three of them – L-leucine, L-isoleucine, and L-valine – belong to the group of branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs), which are characterized by their structure and their specific role in protein metabolism. The formula is based on the original formula of Prof. Dr. Luca Moretti.

Amino acids fulfill various functions in the body, as they participate in numerous processes as components of proteins. The body cannot produce the eight essential representatives of this group itself – they must be obtained through diet.
