Mepilex XT 5x5 cm foam dressing (10 pieces)

Mepilex XT is a highly absorbent foam dressing designed for both normal and viscous exudate.

Properties:

• Absorbs fluid faster than other foam dressings.
• Retains large amounts of fluid.
• Easily conforms and is versatile.
• Features a Safetac wound contact layer.
• Can be worn for longer periods, reducing the frequency of dressing changes.
• Suitable for low to high viscosity exudate.

Application:

1. Cleanse the wound according to standard procedures.
2. Dry the surrounding skin thoroughly.
3. Remove the release film.
4. For optimal results, the dressing should overlap the dry surrounding skin by at least 1–2 cm (5 cm for larger sizes) to securely fix the dressing in place.
5. Can be cut to the desired size.
6. Do not stretch the dressing.
7. Secure Mepilex XT with Tubifast or another fixation method.
