Mepilex Border Flex is a highly conformable foam dressing with a super-absorbent and Flex technology.

This all-in-one dressing features remarkable adhesion. Its unique Flex technology allows for 360-degree stretch, adapting to the body, even in hard-to-dress areas. It can be worn longer than other dressings, especially on knees and elbows. It provides better management of both normal and viscous exudate. In fluid retention tests, Mepilex Border Flex outperformed all other all-in-one dressings by 125%.

The unique adhesion prevents premature detachment, thus offering more control over the frequency of changes. The super-absorbent material absorbs bacteria and directs them to a retention layer where they are trapped, even under pressure. The five-layer dressing features Safetac technology, a silicone contact layer that minimizes pain during changes by adhering gently to the skin without sticking to the moist wound. The backing layer includes exudate progression dots for monitoring and optimizing usage.

Application: Clean the wound according to standard procedures. Thoroughly dry the surrounding skin. Remove the central backing. Apply the adhesive side to the wound without stretching the dressing. Remove the side backings and smooth the edges.
