Description
Mepilex Border Flex Lite is a thin, highly conformable and absorbent self-adherent silicone foam dressing that maintains a moist wound environment. The waterproof outer layer protects the wound from dirt and bacteria. It features a Safetac wound contact layer, a unique adhesive technology, and offers enhanced conformability thanks to Flex technology. The 4-layer dressing absorbs, drains, and retains exudate away from the wound bed.

Use
Mepilex Border Flex Lite can be used by non-professionals under the supervision of a healthcare professional. Cleanse the wound according to clinical practice, dry the skin around the wound thoroughly, and choose an appropriate size. The dressing should overlap the healthy skin around the wound by at least 1–2 cm. Remove the release films and apply the adherent side to the wound. Smooth the dressing onto the skin without stretching it. The change interval can be several days; change the dressing before it is fully saturated, if leakage occurs, or according to clinical practice. It can be used under compression bandages and in combination with gels.
