Mepilex is a soft and absorbent foam dressing designed for a wide range of chronic and acute wounds. The product is highly conformable and provides effective exudate management.

Every Mepilex dressing features Safetac, the original soft silicone adhesive contact layer, which allows for easy removal without damaging the skin. Safetac also seals the wound edges to protect the surrounding skin. The dressing can be cut to size to fit various body areas, including those that are difficult to dress.

Mepilex is available in many sizes and shapes. Instructions for use: clean the wound and dry the surrounding skin. Remove the protective film. Apply Mepilex with the adhesive side down, ensuring it overlaps the wound edges by at least 2 cm, without stretching. Secure the dressing as appropriate for the location, for example with Tubifast.
