Lomatuell Pro is a gelling contact net for dressings. Its composition: polyester gauze impregnated with an elastic polymer matrix, petroleum jelly, and hydrocolloids.
Use: the recommended dressing change interval is generally 2 to 4 days, adaptable according to the type and condition of the wound. The net can be cut to the desired dimensions and can be applied on both sides.
Properties: formation of a gel layer, atraumatic dressing change, simple application, reduced risk of adherence to the wound, flexible and conformable material, good drainage of exudates to the secondary dressing, relatively painless changes. Can be used in combination with negative pressure wound therapy as a wound filler.
