La Compagnie du Bicarbonate Soda Crystals Kraft Bag 1kg
Concentrated soda crystals (anhydrous sodium carbonate).
Twice as effective as traditional soda crystals, easier to store and easier to dissolve in water.
Economical and ecological product.
Indications
A very good degreaser and multi-purpose cleaner for household chores (indoor and outdoor) and DIY, soda crystals (anhydrous sodium carbonate/soda, Na2CO3) have long been known for their effectiveness.
Their alkaline pH allows them to neutralize acids, descale, and dissolve grease on laundry. They can also be used to clean enamel (bathtub, toilet, sink), marble, or to unclog pipes (organic blockages).
They also allow for the cleaning of various heavily soiled surfaces (hood, bin, oven door, toilets, refrigerator). They also have the effect of softening water, which increases the effectiveness of usual cleaning agents (laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid).
In DIY, soda crystals facilitate the removal of wallpaper and old paint. They also thoroughly clean and degrease surfaces before applying new paint or new wallpaper. Soda crystals: a multi-purpose cleaner. White, very light alkaline crystals
Soda crystals (sodium carbonate) should be handled with more care than baking soda:
- wearing gloves, and if necessary glasses, is recommended,
- it should not be left within reach of children.
Reacts with acids. Do not put in contact with aluminum and do not use on oak and chestnut.
Read safety recommendations carefully. Although requiring more precautions than baking soda, soda crystals (or anhydrous sodium carbonate/soda with formula Na2CO3) should not be confused with caustic soda (or sodium hydroxide, with formula NaOH) which is extremely dangerous and corrosive. There is no caustic soda in our soda crystals! Unlike hydrated soda crystals which combine 6 water molecules with one sodium carbonate molecule, our concentrated soda crystals are anhydrous (they are not associated with any water molecule), and are therefore twice as concentrated in active ingredient.
More ecological (no unnecessary water transport), more economical, they are also easier to use because they agglomerate less and dissolve more easily in water.
Soda crystals are more powerful than baking soda for degreasing and are particularly effective for "heavy cleaning", especially in kitchens, workshops... also for perfectly degreasing surfaces that will need to be repainted or glued, on which coatings will need to be applied.
Compatibility issue of soda crystals - Do not put in contact with aluminum - Due to its corrosive power, it is preferable not to put it in contact with aluminum, as well as waxed furniture and wooden floors (risk of altering the natural protection of the wood).
Storage of soda crystals - Away from heat < 30°C, and humidity, can be stored almost indefinitely.
