Item K.O. Nits Detaching and Repellent Balm is a balm that detaches dead nits from hair and repels lice to prevent re-infestation of the scalp.

It is used in conjunction with conventional anti-lice treatments.

The essential oils, by attacking the waxy shell of the nits, dissolve the glue that holds them to the hair and facilitate their detachment.
Pyrethrum essential oil has the primary effect of repelling lice.
Its repellent activity is immediately noticeable upon application and persists over time.

Apricot kernel and petroleum jelly oils improve the detangling effect, protect the hair shaft and, by forming a sheathing film, reduce the adhesive power of nits to the hair.

Protective agents of plant origin facilitate styling without damaging the hair, which remains shiny and supple.
