Hartmann Zetuvit-E Non-sterile abdominal absorbent pad with water-repellent backing (15 x 20 cm, 50 pieces)

This dressing is non-sterile, highly absorbent, and of the American type with a hydrophobic back. It is covered with a very soft non-woven fabric to prevent adhesion to the wound. In the form of a flat pad composed of layers of viscose fibers, wrapped in a non-woven material.

Features:

• The central part consists of an absorbent pad made of defibrated cellulose, surrounded by a hydrophilic cellulose veil.
• The back side is reinforced with a hydrophobic blue polypropylene non-woven fabric.
• The whole assembly is wrapped in a non-adherent white polypropylene non-woven fabric.

Closures:

• Longitudinal closure via Hotmelt adhesive (blue-tinted glue, indicating the outer side of the dressing to ensure it is applied in the correct orientation).
• Transverse closure via heat sealing.

Theoretical maximum absorption capacity: 8.5 (g/g of cellulose)

Indications: Dressing intended for direct contact with heavily secreting wounds.
