Mepilex XT foam dressing 10x20 cm (5 pieces)

Properties: Mepilex XT is a highly conformable foam dressing with integrated exudate channels. It absorbs low and high viscosity exudates and maintains a moist wound environment. It features a Safetac contact layer, a unique adhesive technology.

Composition: Soft silicone contact layer (Safetac), flexible polyurethane foam absorbent, and breathable yet water-resistant polyurethane film backing.

Instructions for use:

• Can be used by laypeople under medical supervision. Clean the wound and dry the surrounding skin.
• Choose the appropriate size; the dressing should overlap the dry skin by at least 1 to 2 cm (small sizes) or 3 to 5 cm (large sizes).
• Remove the release film, apply the adhesive side, and smooth down without stretching. Secure with a bandage if necessary.
• Change before full saturation, in case of leakage, or according to clinical practice; the interval may be several days.

Precautions: Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity or with oxidizing agents. In case of signs of infection (fever, redness, heat, swelling), consult a healthcare professional. Use caution on fragile skin (e.g., epidermolysis bullosa). Do not reuse. Sterile; do not use if the package is damaged. The foam may turn yellow when exposed to light, with no effect on its properties.
