DracoHydrofaser gelling fiber dressing 10x20 cm (10 pieces)

DracoHydrofaser is a gelling fiber dressing composed of carboxymethylcellulose (CMC). It is indicated for heavily to moderately exuding wounds, whether superficial or deep, chronic wounds such as leg ulcers (venous, arterial, diabetic), pressure ulcers, donor sites for split-thickness skin grafts, and slightly bleeding acute wounds (abrasions, cuts).

Upon contact with exudate, the dressing transforms into a gel, limiting its adherence to the wound. It absorbs exudate vertically. It can be applied overlapping the wound edges. After application, cover with a suitable secondary dressing and secure with standard bandaging material.

The dressing can be left in place for up to 7 days depending on the state of the wound and the amount of exudate, on a non-infected wound. It is removed in one piece using sterile forceps, and the wound is then rinsed.
