Biatain Non-Adhesive Superabsorber 12x12 cm (10 pieces)

Properties: Biatain Super is a highly absorbent, non-adhesive hydrocapillary dressing. It quickly absorbs, distributes, and retains wound exudate, even from highly exuding wounds, while minimizing the risk of maceration and leakage. The hydrocapillary pad absorbs exudate vertically and distributes it horizontally. A non-adhesive contact layer maintains a moist wound healing environment. This all-in-one dressing is easy to apply and does not require an additional contact layer.

Mode of action: Superabsorbent particles absorb and retain large amounts of exudate. The fibers distribute the exudate throughout the pad, maximizing absorption. Its high water vapor permeability contributes to excellent exudate management.

Composition: Biatain Super consists of a highly absorbent hydrocapillary pad, a semi-permeable, water- and bacteria-proof top film, a hydrocolloid component for adhesion, and a non-adhesive contact layer. The dressing is available in adhesive and non-adhesive versions.

Use: Suitable for exuding wounds, particularly highly exuding wounds. Can also be used under compression therapy.
