Biatain Super hydrocapillary adhesive dressing (12 x 20 cm, 10 pieces)

Biatain Super is a highly absorbent hydrocapillary dressing available in both adhesive and non-adhesive versions. Designed for heavily exuding wounds, it offers rapid absorption, efficient distribution and retention of exudate, minimizing the risk of maceration and leakage.

The hydrocapillary pad absorbs exudate vertically and distributes it horizontally, maintaining an optimal moist wound healing environment. This dressing is easy to apply.

Mechanism of action: superabsorbent particles absorb and retain large amounts of exudate. The fibers distribute the exudate throughout the pad, thereby maximizing absorption. The high water vapor permeability contributes to excellent exudate management.

Composition: Biatain Super consists of a highly absorbent hydrocapillary pad with a water- and bacteria-resistant semi-permeable outer film, a hydrocolloid component for adhesion, and a non-adhesive wound contact layer.
