B-komplex Köhler intense capsules are a food supplement. In addition to all the B-complex vitamins, the food supplement B-komplex Köhler intense capsules contains the four vitamin-like substances: choline, inositol, PABA, and coenzyme Q10. The nature and dosage of these twelve selected micronutrients provide a good foundation for an intense nutritional effect. The vegan capsules are gastric acid-resistant and protect the contained substances from the acidic conditions of the stomach. Furthermore, these capsules help mask the taste and smell of the B vitamins, reduce any unpleasant aftertaste, and minimize the risk of reflux. B-komplex Köhler intense capsules are vegan, gluten-free, fructose-free, yeast-free, lactose-free, and gelatin-free, and, in accordance with the law, free from preservatives.
B vitamin intake
Through a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle, the body should receive sufficient B vitamins. However, there may be situations where an adequate intake is not guaranteed. There are many reasons for this. For example, seniors may be affected by a vitamin B deficiency due to malnutrition or deficiencies. Absorption disorders, for example due to gastrointestinal diseases, are also common causes. People who regularly consume alcohol and cigarettes also have an increased need for B vitamins. High physical exertion during sports or at work also increases the need, as do prolonged stress situations. It is also common to take medications regularly that increase the need for B vitamins. These include, in particular, the contraceptive pill, proton pump inhibitors, painkillers, and diuretics.
B-Komplex Köhler: eight plus four – a valuable supplement
As varied as the causes of insufficient B vitamin intake may be, so extensive are the nutritional properties of the vitamins and vitaminoids contained in B-Komplex Köhler® intense. They are essential for numerous physiological functions. Thiamine (vitamin B1) has functions in energy metabolism, the nervous system, and heart function. Riboflavin (vitamin B2) is essential for iron metabolism, vision, as well as for the skin and mucous membranes. Niacin in the form of nicotinamide (vitamin B3) is particularly important for psychological functions, energy metabolism, and the nervous system. Pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) has functions related to mental performance, steroid hormone metabolism, and vitamin D synthesis. Pyridoxal-5-phosphate (vitamin B6) participates in processes of the immune system, protein and glycogen metabolism, and hormonal function. Biotin (vitamin B7) is essential for hair, skin, mucous membranes, and for the metabolic functions of macronutrients. Folic acid (vitamin B9) is important for amino acid synthesis, blood formation, and homocysteine metabolism. Methylcobalamin (vitamin B12) is known and indispensable for its role in red blood cell formation, cell division, and energy metabolism. Inositol is also called "vitamin B8." This endogenous substance is important for the transmission of nerve signals. Choline ("vitamin B4") has important functions in fat metabolism and liver function as well as in homocysteine metabolism. Para-aminobenzoic acid (PABA, "vitamin B10") is a component of folic acid. Coenzyme Q10 is important for mitochondria, the power plants of the cells.
